Welcome!

I've enjoyed cooking for quite a long time now. It's an ideal wind down activity for me. I really enjoy having friends over, spending time hanging around the kitchen island with some beers and wine, and cooking up a lip-smacking gourmet dinner. It a great way to spend time. The nice smells, the sizzling sounds and in the end the flavorful bites that cater to the most primeval of human needs. And some lively discussion and friendly banter to go along with. What can be a better way to end a busy day! :)

But let me come to the point. I may not be the perfect cook, but I like experimenting with food - trying to merge different flavors and techniques of cooking to come up with something unique. Needless to say, some stuff comes out great, and some my friends eat just to be nice to me.

So I thought there are so many amazing home chefs out there. Maybe someone can have a bright idea to right a dish, or all can tell how a dish is. So here it is -

Mission - I will think up and cook a fusion dish. It has to be a non-Indian concept fused with Indian flavors and spices. I will try it, and post the recipe here. Depending on how it turns out, I will mark it "MAKE" or "NOT" (or "TRY"). Regardless, of the outcome, I hope folks would be intrigued by the concept and try it themselves. With sufficient comments, I will try to pick the suggestions that I can incorporate, try the dish again and post the verdict and the new recipe.

Vision - To spread the love of experimenting with cooking. To learn and share with everyone how to create a recipe truly global. To hopefully give you an exciting dish to make, and to learn from your knowledge how to better myself.

So have fun folks! Welcome aboard! :)
